I have had over 10 thousand people read my blog but it seems to come in bunches. I do have two people that I like to call regulars of my blog so as far as I am concerned anyone reading my opinion means it is a success. Don't give up. Keep writing. I'll keep bashing the Celtics for you:) I found that when I wrote a blog every few days it got a lot more traffic. People were more apt to come back when they knew something else would be written.
